PLUS to ask a question?! this is truly rediculous!

Question: i used a 30day trial od microsoft office but i think this has
overwritten my existing word processor as my 30trial has expired! what do i
need to do for it to return to normal?

Not in these newsgroups, no. They're free and staffed by unpaid
volunteers like me.

Uninstall the 30 day trial version of Office (using Start... Control
Panel... Add and Remove Software). Then reinstall your exiting word
processor from your original media, if it's in fact been deleted
(which would surprise me somewhat). It may just be that the shortcuts
to it have been redirected to the trial version installation.
