Character spacing in PowerPoint?

No, PPT doesn't do kerning or tracking at all. You can use Word Art (not
good if you have lots of text), or you could do your text in Word, copy it,
and use Edit/Paste Special to paste it onto your slide. Then double-click to
open the embedded object on the slide if you need to edit the text later.

No. Afraid not. It doesn't give any control over character spacing.
