Character map or keyboard setting: Where should I ask how to type Spanish?

I doubt this is the right place to ask but I hope someone can point me
in the right direction.
I need to type something in English and Spanish. Some of the Spanish
words have letters with a comma like mark above that slants to the
right. I can't figure out how to type this. When I cut and paste from
the translation web site, the marks vanish. I need to make 400 copies of
this document so I can't just put the mark in with a pen.
Do I need some sort of international keyboard hack or is this something
you do with the charater map?
I've never used the character map.

Hi MM,
This is not the best place to find someone experienced in what you are
trying to do, but then I do not know where to redirect you. I suggest that
you type the word language into Help and Support. There are several viable
solutions offered there. The Language Bar might work in your situation, and
so might Character Map, I think. Take a look and see if this helps.

Character Map displays all of the characters/symbols in the selected font.
If you open Character Map and select the Spanish character/symbol you want,
you will find {at bottom} the keyboard shortcut for the character/symbol.
Frequently the keyboard shortcut is in the form of ALT+{numbers you enter
using the numerical keyboard}. In most applications including Notepad and
WordPad you can enter the Spanish character by using the keyboard shortcut
Or, you could copy and paste if you like a lot of work.

Full word processor such as Word have addition capabilities such as
auto-correct where you can type a combination of characters that you define
{such as e'} and the Spanish character will replace what you type. In Help
for the word processor you are using look up international characters,
symbols, or auto correct to see what is available.

Ack!
I googled "type in spanish" and found it in 30 seconds.
I thought I'd get a billion hits if I did this.

Looks simple enough.

Hello Machine Messaih and all others involved:

Eureka. I've spent the better part of three days trying every which way to
get Spanish characters.

Ciberspace help works.

By the way, where in cyberspace are you? Wash state here.
