Changing Word as Default

Word suddenly appeared as my default program to open picture attachments,
which it can't do. How do I change the default setting so I can have an
appropriate program open pictures from emails.

Question has nothing to do with Outlook.
Post in a group that supports your operating system and be sure to specify
your file associations when you do.
