changing windows login default from form to icons

My windows XP proffessional uses the dialgue form of login by default (asks
for user name and password)

I've seen other XPs where the the Icon login is the default.

I cant find the option to switch from one to the other. The family would
prefer the icon login approach.

does any one Know a way/reg edit option to switch from one to the other?

Control Panel>User Accounts - enable the Welcome Screen.

1. Click Start - Control Panel
2. Open User Accounts
3. Click "Change the way Users log on or off"
4. Make a check mark on "Use the Welcome Screen"
