Changing Totals

I am using Access 2002, when I preview a report created
from a linked table and compare the total to a total from
the Visual Foxpro Program that the data is from, I get
different totals. And when I switch from design view to
report view the total will change to something different.
By switching back and forth the totals will equal, by
chance it seems, one of the times, but I do not know why
my Access report changes. Is there a fix to this problem?

How do you calculate the total?

Where is the total displayed?

Are you looking at the report in preview or is it printed?
