I have a query with total items shipped and filtered by month. I need a
report that will show total shipped by month for the YEAR. Example:
Item
JAN Total Shipped
FEB Total Shipped
MAR Total Shipped

2009 Total Shipped

Hi,

On your report, have you tried an unbound textbox with a Control Source,
such as:

=Sum([Total Shipped])

Use the Sorting and Grouping to put in a footer and place your total there
(YearlyTotal: [Total Shipped]). (You will need a MyYear: [DateField] in
your query.)

add a field to the query that uses the "year" function on the month data;
have your report sort and total first by that, then by your month field
