Changing to RichText on Reply

I Have Outlook set so that Word is my editor and all new
messages are in Rich Text. Incoming emails are perceived
as HTML and, thus, when I reply, the default "style" is
HTML. I would like to reply in Rich Text. I have been
unable to find a way to do this.

My present workaround is to copy the original email into a
new message (which is Rich Text) and create a synthetic
REPLY.

ANy thoughts?

You would have to manually change the format of either the original message
or the reply to rich-text. This, BTW, is a bad idea, unless you have 100%
certainly that the sender is using Outlook.
