Hi all,

I would like to make my start button a couple of pixels wider, so it looks
like the start button did on Windows 2000. I'm sure I read ages ago that
there is a registry setting that can be tweaked to do this.

I have been searching the Web without success, all I could find was a
reference to HKCU/Control Panel/Window Metrics/MinWidth, however all I have
managed to do so far is make the application buttons on my task bar about
quarter of the width they should be.

Does anyone know how to change the size of the start button?

Regards,

Chris

Anyone?

You could go for the entire Win 2000 look and use 'classic' mode.. it
improves performance too..

I have.

It has taken a lot of hacking to get rid of all traces of that vile blue
'Luna' theme, this smaller start button is just bugging the hell out of me.
