Is it possible to change the name of a windows system folder in documents
and settings directory. When we set up the new computer it was called
something that should be changed. When I try to rename it I get a message
that states, '..........is a Windows system folder and is required to run
property. It cannot be moved or changed.

Tkg

No, you cannot rename the Windows system folders. There are
hundreds of registry entries that reference the current folder name.

Best way is create a new account > name it as you want.
AND Try searching before posting. here is an example :
http://groups.google.com/groups/sea...+account+"Documents+and+settings"&qt_s=Search
