Changing the font format

I was making mailing labels. In updating some information, dots appeared
under the new addresses. The help menu "What's this?" showed a font format
box. In the box it shows on the line, Direct, that the font is hidden.
How do I take this command off so that when printing, the information
appears? Thanks.

1. Show the hidden text. (The easiest way to do that is to click the
paragraph-mark button on the toolbar/ribbon, Show Non-Printing
Characters.)

2. Select the hidden text.

3. Unhide it, either in the Format Font box, or with Ctrl-Shift-H.

Or, if you have lots of hidden text in your document and you know you
want it all to show, do a find/replace (Ctrl-H). With the cursor in
the Find box, type Ctrl-Shift-H, and the word Hidden will appear below
it; in the Replace box, type Ctrl-Shift-H, and the words Not Hidden
will appear below it. Find and Replace once to be sure it works, then
do Replace All.

Hi Golfer,

Select everything (Ctrl+A), then in the menu open Format > Font, uncheck
"Hidden".
Or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+H.

Greetings,
Klaus
