Changing Template on existing Workbooks

Hi,
is it possible to change template on existing Workbooks in Excel ?
I have ten workbooks based on Default template and I would to apply them a
new customized template created by me. I didn't find how to make this change
in Excel or by VBA Excel.
Does anyone know it?

Once the new workbook is created from the template, there is no tie back to the
template.

You'll have to make the change to each of the workbooks.
