Changing Size of a Field

You should be fine as long as you are making the fields
larger and not smaller. Also, make sure you don't change
field types. If you want to be really safe, create a new
table with the new field sizes, and copy your data over.
Once you are sure it's okay, you can delete the original
table and rename your new table.

Please...
if I have already started setting data to my table,
and I need to change the size of some fields from "text of
20 characters" to "text of 100 characters" or even
for "memo"- I mean, if I am always increasing the size of
the fields, is there any chance of losing data or over-
writing some data or any type of corruption? Because most
of the times it seems a message advising about this comes
up. (using Access 97).
