changing registered user name

Hi,
I am wondering if there is an easy way to change the name Windows is
registered under which is showing when I click "My Computer" properties?

Sure,

Regedit, then navigate to:
My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
Change the Registered Owner data
