Changing Properties on Delegates

Hello,

I have two users with delegate authority to send and create email on the
same persons behalf. When one person sends, the from name appears as Bob P
when the other person sends it shows as JoAnne, on behalf of Bob P. I've
checked everywere I know of to try and change this.

If anyone knows how to change this, I would greatly appreciate a response.
We are using Outlook 2000 with Exchange 2000.

thanks,
Andrea

What do you want them to have - Send As, or Send on Behalf Of? The latter
gives you the 'on behalf of' and if you've defined this person as a delagate
in Bob P's Outlook, it will trump Send As rights you set on the server.
Remove the delegate settings in Outlook if you want Send As....

The first user has Send As permission over BobP's mailbox, which you set in
AD. THe second one has only Send On Behalf Of.

We were looking in AD on our exchange box and we don't see anywhere in there
where you set those items. All we found is where you can give them permission
to read, write, full control, etc.

Where do you go in AD to do this?

thanks,

I want them both to be send as so that when they send an email or reply to
one from his mailbox, it does not show up in from feild as JoAnne V on behalf
of Bob P. I just want it to say from Bob P. Right now, the other lady who is
setup, it works this way for. However, the second person we added is the one
having the issue. We've double checked their acct and they look like they are
set up the same. However, we are thinking there must be a place somewhere
we're missing to make this change.

I hope this makes sense.

As I said, any delegate 'send on behalf of' settings you set in Outlook will
trump whatever you set on the server. Remove those, and add Send As rights
in ADUC - see http://support.microsoft.com/?id=327000 for help.

Look on the Security tab for the AD user. Send As should be about the 9th
permission down, under Reset Password.
