Changing OS from Win98 to W2K Pro

How do I change from a Win98 OS to W2K Pro? I have a
full version W2K, not an upgrade Package.

If you don't want to save any info on the PC just put the
Win2K CD in the drive, go into the BIOS and set it up to
boot to CD, remove all partitions, then create/format a
new partition - install will practically do everything...
I hope this is right

If while in Windows 98 you put the Windows 2000 cd in it will give you the
option to upgrade the current operating system.
If you want to do a clean install, nothing on the hard drive that you
current want to save, set your machine to boot from the cd. It will give
you the option format the current partiton and install Windows 2000 clean.
