Changing order images appear

This is probably really simple but I can't figure it out! I have a number of
photos arranged in a table - one photo per cell. They 'appear' in the wrong
order. How do I change the order that the pictures appear when the webpage
loads please?

Unless they're being loaded / displayed dynamically via a script,
Delete the one that's wrong.
Insert the one that's correct.
Save the page.

Hi

Sorry, I perhaps didn't explain properly. All the images are in the correct
places on the page, but they are appearing out of order. Instead of a nice
smooth flow from top left to bottom right some of them appear out of
sequence. It just looks untidy!

The browser downloads and displays images in the order it sees the img link in the html
Starting from top to bottom.
However, do all of the images have the same file size in bytes?
If not, images with a smaller file size can display before larger images.
