Changing name and date in a document frequently used.

I have a legal document I use frequently. The client name, address, case
number and dates of hearings, etc change. Is there a way that I can type the
client name once and have it changed/updated throughout the entire document?
Should i set the document as a form or template? I'm sure there is a way of
doing this and i have tried to think it through but my mind is drawing a
blank. Any suggestions/ideas will be appreciated.
