Changing Locale Name

After recent clean reinstall, noticed that locale
shows wrong country under System Summary in
System Information. Dumbo here obviously
clicked on wrong country when reinstalled. Is
there a way to change it to correct one without
doing another reinstall. Tx!

Checked for replies to my July 31 post and didn't see my original
post listed or any replies - hence the re-post again. Just checked
again and July 31 post still doesn't show up at my end. Sorry didn't
get your reply. If could post it again, would be most grateful. Tx!

Weird! I still see it.... hmmm..... well.. no worries.... I just hope my
suggestion works, now that we've posted all around it )

============
You should be able to do it by right-clicking on the clock on the lower
right of your taskbar.... then select Adjust Date/Time
Click the Time Zone tab, then use the drop-down menu to select.

Good luck,

I believe what you're looking for lies within Control panel|Regional &
language options.

Found answer in another forum. Searched registry for
*scountry*, clicked on modify and changed to correct country.
Now shows up correctly in System Information. Tx for replies.
