changing language on xp

Hi, I hope you can help me. My sister is english and
moved to france last year. She bought a new pc over there
(windows xp) and its all in french. She has tried to
change the language settings on control panel but to no
sucess. She is pretty new to computers and is finding it
all a struggle, especially as its all in french and she
is english speaking. Please can someone help, don't know
what else to do

She needs to buy an English language version of XP and
install it. It will need to be a full version. AFAIK an
update will not change language as installed.
She can install as a dual boot and keep the French, but she
will need to have partitions for each.
BTW, do you know why the French plant trees on both sides of
the roads?

So the Germans can march in the shade.

Did you see the rifles for sale on the Internet, French
issue, rarely fired, only dropped once.

Enough French bashing, they have good wines, good cooks and
they did help the USA, but that was just to get back at the
Brits for the French and Indian Wars fifty years earlier.

I am English but my system is in spanish. I don't complain.

I really think that the Americans think they won the second world war.
Where do they get their audacity. They couldn't win anything!

WWII was won by the USA with the help of many nations. The
English alone would have been starved to surrender by summer
1942 had the USA not entered the war. The Nazi U-boats had
imposed a very effective blockade on shipment of food. The
entry of the USA and the US Navy in the Atlantic war and
soon the addition of American long range maritime patrols
made anti-submarine warfare effective and the convoy system
and escorts turned the tables.
Spain in a nation and Spanish is a language and should be
capitalized.

If the USA had not entered WWII when it did Europe would be
speaking German and the English language would be seen in
old movies made in London. There is some history that
Winston Churchill and FDR both knew that the Japanese
intended an attack in the Pacific and this was allowed to
happen so the American public opinion would become pro-war.
There is some evidence the Churchill knew Pearl Harbor was
the target, but FDR thought it would be the bases in the
Philippines.

The USA has never lost a war on the battlefield, but we do
have problems in Congress, too many socialists.
