Changing LAN connection settings in IE6

we have two xp users who we cannot connect to the
internet, cant get in to change the LAN settings in
internet options > connections tab??

any ideas
 
Two questions here... what kind of environment are you in
(corporate, home network)?

How are you trying to connect to the internet (high
speed, dial-up)?
