Changing initial width + height of *.chm help files?

I call often help files compiled as *.chm format. Unfortuantely the initial width and height
of the opening window is too small. Can I permanantly change the initial size somewhere
in the file (at least with a hex editor)?

Or do I really need the original source to re-compile the whole help pages?

Actualy if the chm was made to preserve settings then resizing the window to the size you want and then closing it the chm should open to the same size it was befgore closing it. If the chm was not made with that option then you may have to recompile it with that setting in place. Trouble is without the project file that can take a long time. You might try asking in the newsgroup:

Hi,

try this :

Set your favorite size then keep CTRL key pressed while closing chm
window. It's would save your sizing for the next time.
