changing IE search engine

Is there away in IE 6 SP2 to change the search engine to one *not* in
the selected list of search engines?

Hi,
Well, you're using gmail, so you probably know how to set google as the
default search, right? http://www.google.com/options/defaults.html

You could download the REG file that google uses to accomplish that, open it
in notepad and edit it. I would back up the registry before merging that
edited file. Google also has a file on that page to restore the IE default
search.
