CHANGING ICONS

My desk top icons kepp changing by themselves, is this a bug.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Peter

A few more details may help. Are the icons changing postition on the
Desktop or are the icons themselves changing the image? With those kind of
details, someone may be bale to help you.

Have you installed any new software since this started? Try a System
Restore back to a point before the problem started.

Just any icons, or are these customised versions for say Recycle Bin,
reverting to default settings?
