Changing homepath/user profile directory

For some reason a user's home directory/homepath was changed from \
Documents and Settings\user to \Documents and Settings\user.DG27V811.
All his documents and app data are under the old directory, so for
example, Eudora can't find any of his e-mails . I want to change the
homepath back but I haven't found where the registry key is for this.
Anyone know?

Thanks,

Chris

Chris,

Not sure how this happened but you could use the 'File and Settings Transfer
Wizard' to migrate the files and settings. This program is available on the
Start menu under Accessories | System Tools | File and Settings Transfer
Wizard.

I hope this helps,
Dennis Davis [msft]
