I am about to change the server machine (currently PIII to
P4) which runs PDC and Active Directory from a SCSI Drive.
Is it going to have some drastic effect on my server? SID
change or something like that? Any advice/suggestion is
appreciated.

Should be fine.

Just in case, see

Thanks for your reply, that helped me understand it more.
Here's exactly what I am going to do.

ServerA Roles = Primary Domain Controller, DNS Server,
Active Directory Server(for logins/group policies), FTP
Server(ServU), Mail Server(Mdaemon)

The only thing I am worried about is Active Directory, all
other services are not linked with AD right now. I have 2
identical SCSI Drives in the server, I am going to clone
the main drive to other one and use the backup one for the
upgrade. I am not using another drive, the same SCSI drive.

I am also running a backup domain controller(serverB) and
a separate SQL Server machine(serverC).

I hope I don't mess up anything during the process :)
Thanks for the advice.

Just curious, what version of MDaemon are you running?
