Can anyone tell me the best way to change from XP home to
XP professional? My reason for doing this is I want to
use IIS with Dreamweaver. Or can tell me that I don't
need IIS. Or can I get IIS for the Home version of XP.

Thanks

IIS won't run on XP Home. You can buy a Windows XP Professional
upgrade (which is much less expensive than the full version), insert
the CD while running XP Home, and upgrade to Professional.

There are third-party web servers that run on XP Home.

I dont know if Dreaweaver *needs* IIS or if will run on any web server. If
it will run on any server then there are a lot of free webservers to
donwnload. Apache is very good. http://www.apache.org/

XP HE does not have IIS and to upgrade to PRO just for IIS seems a bit of a
waste of money.(IMHO)
