Changing from ME

I want to change my operating system from ME to W-2000.
What obstacles will I encounter and will the programs I am
running under ME also run under W2000? Any other
suggestions?

Most likely, but you'll need to contact the application developer to be

You are aware, I hope, that moving from ME to W2k is not a supported
upgrade (by Microsoft) but requires a clean install of W2k and all your
apps?

Dan is correct. Just save all of your personal files on a
separate or slave drive, and make a clean install for
Win2000. Depending on what hardware you are running, there
make be some drivers that Win2000 will not recognize, so
you might have to go to the manufacturer's web site and
download that particulatr driver (assuming they have one).
