Changing from eMail address to a screen name

How do I change having my email address pop up in
Messenger? I have XP Home and I am signed up with a
passport account. My neice and sister & I chat a lot in
Pogo games. I would like to have a screen name instead
of the first part of my email address showing. Thanks.

Greetings Kari,

You can change your name by opening the main Messenger window (double-click the Messenger
icon in the notification area/system tray, by the clock), click the Tools menu, then Options,
then at the top under 'Display name', change it to whatever you like.
