Can you change the layout of the form in design view or do I have to go
through the wizard again?

I dont see anything that allows me too. I chose tabular, but I want
columnar.

You'll simply have to change and move the controls around until it looks
like a columnar report. what this means is that you don't have to run the
wizard again, because the forms been already created (the forms creation
wizards to not operate on existing forms that have been created by you).

the suggestion or instructions being given here is that you are free to
change the design of this form, and you are free to move the controls around
by hand to make this report looks like a columns report.

Only you can decide if moving the controls around my hand is going to be
less work, then creating another form by using the wizard to layout the
controls for you.

If in your case is you've made a significant numbers of changes to this
form, and therefore you do not want to start from scratch. In this case what
I would do is to delete all the controls on your form, then use the wizard
to create another form, and then simply copy and paste those controls into
your form that you don't want to delete. However, if you've not made a lot
of modifications to this form, then I suggest you delete it and start over
from scratch and use the wizard to create a new form.

I think we misunderstood your question a little bit here. You can for sure
change the layout and design of a form in design view as you please, but you
can't use the wizard to make these modifications for you once the form has
been made.
