Changing Exchange Server Name

I have a client that upgraded their Exchange server over the weekend. The old
server was named "apples". The new server is named "oranges". They have 200
desktops using Outlook 2000. What is the easiest method to change the
Exchange server name on each client machine?

Thanks!

Then they didn't upgrade but replaced the server? If they did a "move
mailbox" within an Exchange 2000 or later organisation they won't have to do
anything on client level. Otheriwse they can redeploy settings with a
prf-file. See the ORK for more details.

Correct. They replaced it. And I will check it out.

Thanks
