Changing desktop background

I recently changed my desktop background and now find
that I am unable to remove the background. I have tried
changing it through the control panel, but I have
no "change the desktop background" selection under the
PICK A TASK. Whether I go through the control panel or
simply right click on the desktop, I am unable to choose
anything under the desktop tab. What Have I Done Wrong??
 
Hi Chay,
Type regedit.exe at Start>Run.. and navigate to :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ActiveD
esktop

See if a DWORD named NoChangingWallpaper exists. If it exists then double
click it and set its value from 1 to 0 (zero) or you may simply delete the
DWORD.
