changing default calendar

M

Mr. T.

Hi,

i've got my outlook configured for standard internet mail.

Now i added an exchange account and on that exchange account i have a
calendar and tasks. Now i want the exchange calendar and tasks to be the
default calendar and tasks. How can i set this? Because now, when i add an
appointment to my exchange calendar, the reminder function doesn't work,
because it says the appointment isn't in the Calendar Folder. Allso
synchronising with a PDA doesn't work. It syncs with the local PST calendar
and tasks, but not with the exchange calendar and tasks as i want it to.

Any ideas? Bearing in mind that i want to continue using the internet mail
as the standard mail? (i know that's probably not the ideal situation, but
that's current company policy and i can't change that)

Regards,

Thomas

The default calendar is always the calendar in the same set of folders where
your mail is delivered. If you don't want to switch to Exchange as your
default mail store, your .PST calendar will be the default.

You can find a couple of 3rd party add-ins to extend reminder functionality
to other folders at www.slovaktech.com.
