Changing content of Cross Reference label

Hi: I'm working on a document in which the cross references to Tables &
Figures are followed by a colon e.g. "Table 1:" & "Figure 1:". I don't want
the colon to be incuded. How do I edit this in the document so that I can
update all the cross refences automatically to the new format? Thanks. Leszek

Hi PLDV,

If you insert the cross-reference with the 'only label and number' attribute, the colon should not be present.

Hi, "macropod": Thanks for your answer. Spot on target. The authors of this
document used unusual approaches to get things to work instead of the widely
recommended approach for inserting Table & Figure captions & cross refs to
those. I was not anticipating this. It's easy to see that the colon :)) comes
from the text that's part of the Table legend! Light bulb went on! Thanks.
PLDV.
