Changing contacts display name

When changing the display name on the server (2003)it
will change the name in the contacts in Outlook 2003 when
not in cache mode. Now when enabling cache mode in
Outlook, I then change the display name on the server the
change doesn't happen in the contacts in Outlook. Does
anyone know why?

I meant, is anything else you've changed on the server not showing up in
cached mode? If you disable & then re-enable cached mode, does it work?
