Changing ALL folder icons in xp

Somehow all of my standard yellow folder icons have been all changed to
a yellow folder with a white and blue widows dialouge window laying
over the corner of the standard yellow icon.

All I want is my regular folder icons back. I figured out how to change
it for a folder one at time, but how do I restore the standard folder
icons for all folders. I am somewhat of a novica nd hep would be
appreacieated.

Try this:

Go to http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and click on number 4.
Double click on the registry entry and hit ok.

Do you mean download it to desktop and run it? What is it and what is
it supoosed to do.? I seemed to run the little application but I am
not sure what happened

Hi there Wayne,

It should insert a registry entry to rest the defaults on all of your
folders. Afterwards, reboot your machine and let me know how it goes. We
may have to recreate your user profile as it may be corrupted.
