Changing adninistrator account

I am writing to find out how to change my user account to
adninistrator account.My husband, Dan Vernon, was the
administrator. I am sending this from his account under
(e-mail address removed). He passed away February 28,2002. Please
tell me the steps to use to put me, Shirley Vernon, the
administrator.

Shirley;
Log in to any account with Administrator access.
Then go to User Accounts in Control Panel.
Select a user.
Then click "Change account type"
Select Administrator.
