Changing Administrative rights on my Vista

Guest

I just got a new computer with Vista. My system was used as a model and the
administrative rights are to the company I bought it from. I am trying to
install a few programs that give me the error message that "I have no
administrative rights". Anyone know how to change this? I am new to Vista and
not to good yet at getting around. Any ideas would be great.

Hello,

In Windows Vista, even though you are an administrator, programs that do not
ask to use your admin power ("Windows needs your permission to continue")
are not allowed to use it.

Programs designed for Vista will ask you for this permission whenever they
require it.

Older programs will not know how to do this, so you must manually give them
such permission. Right-click on them and click Run As Administrator.
