changing a drive letter

i think someone will no this answer does anyone know how to change a drive
letter if the drive is the primary drive? If so can you explain.

You can type:diskmgmt.msc In run,in msc,L.click a drive,actions,all,select,
change drive letter.

If you're talking about changing the drive letter Windows is installed on,
then it can't be done short of reinstalling the os on the desired drive. If
not, then follw Andrew's advise.

One cannot change the boot partition letter without
performing a "clean install" of Windows XP.
