Changes To Default user post Unattend customizations.

Hello all.

BackGround Info:
I'm working on a deployment for XP Pro SP1a using an Unattended and I want
to do some post-install configuration.
I've gathered up the settings I need and they are in 2 reg files according
to their classes; HKLM/HKCR and HKCU.
I've added the HKLM/HKCR to cmdlines.txt but I am having trouble automating
the import the HKCU into the default profile. Running the reg in cmdlines
does not seem to work. I've read where you can autologin as administrator
and run a script to load the default hive and then import the reg, and I
have a script that will do it, but I'd like to learn more about it. Can
anyone point me to a website that explains it in detail?

I know this sounds like a basic question, but.......

After I load the default user hive, naming it BEERBELLY, then do I have to
go back to the HKCU reg file and change the settings to reflect the new key
name? Such as changing:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/Microsoft/windows/currentversion/Run
to
HKEY_USERS/BEERBELLY/software/Microsoft/windows/currentversion/run

The other option I have is to use the Copyprofile utility, but automating it
would be ugly.
Thanks for your help
