changeing hard drive latter

pls help. I need to change ma hard drive latter. I heve
windows xp pro... tanks
 
I will assume you have admin rights.

1. Right click on My Computer and select Manage
2. Click on Disk Management
3. Right click on the target drive and select "Change Drive Letter and Paths..."
4. Select the new letter and apply

Note: you may have to juggle the drive letter around if you need to assign an already
"spoken for" letter.
