Changed to Workgroup, Now cannot log on

Dave

I was trying to transfer files between two XP machines on
my home network. I could search and find each computer but
could not log onto shared resources.

Computer 1. My Business Laptop running XP Professional.
Was set for Domain: "work.net".

Computer 2. Home desktop running XP Home. Was set for
Workgroup: "MSHOME"

I thought that if I changed Computer 1 from Domain to
Workgroup: MSHOME, I might be able to log onto the shared
resources of Computer 2.

Bad move. Upon changing Computer 1 to Workgroup: MSHOME,
it asked me for authorization. I put my normal name and
password (It is an administrator account). It then asked
me to reboot. After reboot, it asked me for name and
password but I get the logon message "The system could not
log you on. Make sure your User name and Domain are
correct, then type your password again. Letters in
passwords must be typed using the correct case."

I seem to have no other logon options. How can I go back
to Domain: work.net now that I can't even log on? I'm
going to post this in Networking and Accessibility.
Thanks for your help in advance!
Dave
