Changed Admin PW now apps won't run

We've changed our administrator passwd and now I've got
apps that won run properly. Ex. Backup Exe. fails with the
new passwd, when we change the passwd to the old one all
is well. What am I missing?

You are probably using the Administrator account as a service account.
Look at the services and see which ones you have set up to user that
Administrator account.
If you leave the Administrator account on the service please be mindful that
you will need to update the service account information (password) with you
change the Administrators password.
