change the size of the new message window not to cover full scree.

I would like to change to size of my new message window in Outlook to only
cover a portion of the screen. As it is not, my new message window cover the
entire width of my 17" screen.

Is it "maximized" then? What happens if you click on the "Restore Down"
button, next to the top right red ⊠ ?

The window was minimized. When I maximized the window, the tools bar would
disappear. I did figure it out though. I grabbed and dragged the sides, top
and botton to the desired size. The size remained the same even after I
shutdown and signed on again. Thanks for you help.
