change template colors?

Does anyone know how to change the colours of a templated downloaded from
this site? Is that even possible?

I am referring to the template itself. When using templates included in the
Microsoft Office Powerpoint Software, it is possible to alter the actual
template's color,
i.e., the original picture is retained, but it is possible to alter
"ocean.pot," for example, from its default blue to say, green.

I would like to manipulate a template that i have downloaded from 'Microsoft
Office Online' in that same way.

However, I have not been successful in doing so. It doesn't seem to respond
as a template-that-belongs-to-the-software.

Ah, you want to post this question in a forum dedicated to Power Point.
This forum is for users of Microsoft Access, the database program.

Now, if you're trying to open a PowerPoint template in Access, you have
a whole other set of problems...
