change size of individual boxes organization chart?

I'm trying to change the size of individual boxes in an Org Chart in
PowerPoint. The system will not let me format on a box to make the box
wider. Anybody know of a way around this?

Try turning off the autolayout option on the Org Chart toolbar.

Are you sure you turned it off? When you click on "Layout" on the Org Chart
toolbar, does Standard have an orange icon to the left? Well, I guess you
haven't told us what version of PowerPoint you are using. The above will hold
true for PowerPoint 2003. What version do you have?
