Open the registry editor (Start>Run key in regedit then click on OK or hit
ENTER) and navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MiÂcrosoft\Windows\CurrentVersionÂ\Uninstall
With Uninstall expanded, look for the subkey for the program that you
uninstalled and want to remove from the list, right-click on it, then select
Delete.
And before someone who may happen upon this thread comments on the date of
my postings, yes, I was checking something using the Date/Time Settings
calendar late last night (early this morning <g>) and inadvertently changed
the date. I have since corrected it.
