How do you get rid of the programs listed in Add/Remove Programs in the
Control Panel...when you know you want to "NOT SEE" them on the list; either
they are not removable ("cannot remove...due to 'some reason'") or, you no
longer need to ever see it on your list.

Thanks,

The easiest way is to use the TweakUI Power Toy (free from Microsoft).
Otherwise, hand-edit the registry at:

HKEY_LocalMachine>Software>Microsoft>Windows>Current Version>Uninstall

Find the entry you don't want to appear in Add/Remove Programs and
delete it. Be very careful when working in the registry.

Interestingly enough, the one program (Photosmart...7000,7200,7600) does
NOT appear in the Registry where you sent me> Any suggestions,

It must be somewhere, probably under a different name. Normally you just
uninstall HP printers from Add/Remove Programs and normally the entry is
removed. Since I don't know how you uninstalled the printer, I can't
address that. Use TweakUI or the Find function in the registry editor.
