Change registration

A former secretary installed xp home edition on several
computers at the church at which I am a pastor. Now we
see her name listed as "owner" every time we go to get a
file. Can I change this without a total reinstall?

PS. I tried the knowledge base solution to rewrite the
registry under Local_Machine but it messed up the printer
so I had to change it back.
