Windows XP Pro machine in a domain environment not using roaming profile. In
fact (the best I can tell) any machine added to the domain in the last three
months exhibit the same symptoms [change profile type - use roaming profiles
grayed out]
From Control Panel - System - Advanced - User profile Settings. Use Local
Profile radio button selected and Roaming profile option grayed out. Does
anyone know how I can change this behavior?

If roaming profiles is not used in the domain the option be changeable. To
change the behavior you would set up your domain to use roaming user
profiles.

Domain is already setup to use roaming profiles. All users except two work
roaming just fine. It's just 2 worksations that I have this issue with.

Hi,

I have a similar problem - on the PC that a new user logs into (that I want
to be roaming) I have 4 profiles. Two have the buttons 'Delete' and 'Copy to'
avaliable when selected and two do not - greyed out as in your case. I have
tried to find difference between these accounts/profiles and cannot find any.

I have a Win2k server/domain and XP clients, btw.

Have you found any more info on this problem as it's causing me a major
headache!?

Regards,

Steve
